Semper Fi Fund

Created to direct urgently needed resources and financial support to injured and critically ill members of the US Armed Forces.

USA Cares

To help bear the burdens of service by providing post 9/11 military families with financial and advocacy support in their time of need.

Brave-Aid

Can provide a maximum grant per fiscal year per eligible applicant is $5,000.00 based on funding availability.

PenFed Foundation

Rent, Mortgage, Electric, Water, Natural Gas, Heating Petroleum, Utilities, Auto Loan, Auto Insurance.

Operation Ward 57

One-time small grant up to $250. Temporary financial assistance, shelter, food, utilities & health expenses, assistance with child care, other routine household expenses, home & vehicle adaption, funeral expenses, adaptive equipment, moving assistance, travel, etc. Grant money is paid directly to the person or company owed the debt, such as a landlord or electric company whenever possible.

Emergency Financial Need.

Army Emergency Relief (Soldiers Helping Soldiers)

An interest-free loan, A grant if repayment of loan will cause undue hardship, or part loan and part grant. Help with emergency financial needs for: Rent/ Mortgage, Vehicle Repair, Emergency travel, Utilities/ Deposits. Funeral expenses, Food, Rental vehicle. Car Seats, Essential furniture, Medical expenses, Loss of funds, Replacement vehicle.

Families of the Wounded (Virginia Based)

Provides money to the families and caregivers to use as they see fit to meet the needs such as lodging, meals, transportation, healthcare, child care, and other expenses.

Unmet Needs (Veterans of Foreign Wars)

Financial assistance with Mortgage/ Rent, Vehicle expenses, Utilities, Food & Clothing, School or Childcare expenses, Medical bills, prescriptions and eyeglasses.

USO (Emergency Assistance)

Offers housing, financial information, and financial support to our troops and their familiesduring emergencies.

H.E.R.O.E.S. CARE

Offers emergency financial assistance.

Operation One Voice

Provide emergency support to wounded or fallen SOF families. Rental car reimbursement to spouses of wounded Special Operations Forces soldiers or medical facilities.

The Red Cross

Emergency Financial Assistance.

Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society

Assist with food, rent/mortgage, utilities, essential home repairs. Establishing new residence, car expenses, medical expenses, etc.

The American Legion

Grants that may be used to assist with basic needs such as shelter, food, utilities, and clothing.

American Military Family (Colorado Residents)

Assistance with an Emergency Financial Need.

Operation Homefront

Food assistance, Auto and home repairs, Vision care, Emergency travel and transportation costs, Moving Assistance, Providing essential home items, and Financial assistance.

Salute, Inc.

Helps Families by providing financial aid for rent/ mortgage payments, auto expenses, phone, utility bills, and other everyday living.

Operation Once in a Lifetime

Check-6 Foundation

Provides aid by directly paying for Veterans mortgage, rent, electric & utility bills, car payments, insurance premiums, and food. Also offering 100% free transitioning and mentoring .

Military Assistance Mission (Arizona Residents)

Help with Rent, Mortgage, Utilities, Car Payments, Car Insurance, and Food.

Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors

Housing security deposits, mortgage, rent, basic utilities, car payment, insurance, or car repair, medical expenses, education or training expenses.

Catholic Charities

To help lower the poverty level.

Coast Guard Mutual Assistance

Provides assistance for situations requiring immediate attention. For essentials. To Solve a temporary problem.

EOD Warrior Foundation

Financial Relief for expenses such as child care, adaptive equipment, retreats, travel expenses, and debt relief.

Operation Second Chance

Help with mortgage, rent, utilites, or childcare during a recovery.

Operation Family Fund

Provides financial assistance to eligible recipients in the form of grants. Grants are to meet personal, short and long term living needs such as: food, rent, utilities, emergency transportation, vehicle repairs, funeral expenses, legal expenses, medical/dental expenses, assistance with a home, home imporvements, caregiver training and support.

Code of Vets

They assist with food, utility, rent, housing, VA claims assistance, advocate assistance, and more.

Warrior Foundation

Essential living expenses for: Mortgage/Rent, Groceries and Meals, Utilities, Auto Loans, Medical Bills, and other Emergency Needs

American Bar Association

1. Foster the continued growth of the military legal assistance programs. 2. Promote the delivery of legal services to military personnel and their family members and to persons accompanying the armed forces outside the United States on their personal legal affairs. 3. Maintain a close liaison with the Department of Defense, the Department of Homeland Security, the military services, bar associations.

GI Rights Hotline

The GI Rights Network answers calls from military and their family for any of the following issues. DEP Discharges, Entry Level Separation, Dependency or Hardship Discharges, Medical or Disability Discharges, Conscientious Objection Discharges, Reservist Unsatisfactory Participation, AWOL or UA, Reservist Mobilization, Article 138 Complaints, Harassment or Discrimination.

The Veterans Treatment Court Planning Initiative is designed to assist in the planning and development of veterans treatment courts.

Helping our Nation’s Warrior who have been unjusty and wrongfully convited.

Offers a free refurbished vehicle to veterans in need.

Providing donated vehicles to struggling families.

Military Warriors Support Foundation

Payment-free vehicles to combat wounded veterans and unmarried Gold Star spouses whose loved ones were Killed-In-Action.

Program is ran by Progressive to Award Vehicles to our Nations Veterans.

Working Cars for Working Families

They connect families to repair shops for free assistance, organizations, and resources. They strive to find a source that will help struggling families keep their car running.

Vehicles for Change (Maryland and Virginia)

Award donated vehicles at affordable prices to eligible families.

NextLevel Church (Single Moms near Charlotte, NC)

Provide free labor for minor auto repairs and/or service.

Carpenter’s Garage (Vancouver, WA)

They are a federally registered non-profit auto repair shop in Vancouver, WA. Provides discounted auto repair based on a sliding scale and financial capabilities of the customer. This is determined through an application process.
